Description and Desired Qualifications

Project Manager – Terminals – Burnaby, British Columbia

The Challenge? Help to meet the ever increasing global demand for energy. Our Project Manager-Terminals position will offer you an exciting opportunity to help our clients provide a safe and reliable source of energy to heat homes, fuel automobiles, and move good and services in support of millions of people worldwide. Each day you will be part of a team with overall responsibilities for design, project management, client interaction, scheduling, and budgeting to bring projects in on time and within budget.

You should be a self-motivated Project Manager-Terminals with 10 years of experience in energy terminal design and construction.

Our Project Manager-Terminals:

  • Assembles and leads the project team. Allocates resources where appropriate to achieve the safety, time, cost, scope and quality objectives of the project
  • Evaluates and reports project performance to Management and the Client
  • Develops Total Installed Cost estimates
  • Manages multi-discipline project delivery; ensures compliance with overall project objectives
  • Evaluates material and construction bids
  • Provides Project Management through construction
  • Complies with applicable regulations and client guidelines for design, project documentation and records
  • Participates in business development activities

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in either Civil, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from accredited college or university is required
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in oil terminals
  • Minimum 5 years experience in project management role is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Outlook, Project, Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communications is required

    Bachelors or 4 Year Degree

    Certifications Required

    P. Eng.
