Description and Desired Qualifications

CH2M HILL Human Resources Delivery Partner, Tampa, FL

The challenge? Be at the center of a global leader in full-service engineering, consulting, construction and operations. CH2M HILL is seeking an HR Delivery Partner to provide leadership in developing and implementing firm-wide initiatives, policies, programs and consulting services. You should be a self-motivated professional, ideally with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, possess 8+ years of professional level generalist HR experience and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally.

Our Human Resources Delivery Partners:

  • Implement business planning, strategic and change management initiatives

  • Provide HR advice and expertise to business leaders within the defined geography

  • Provide coaching and guidance to line leaders to develop excellent people management and supervisor responsibilities

  • Embody the HR value proposition as an informed business partner and by advocating and assisting to drive business objectives

  • Provide guidance in interpreting and applying compliance, regulations, policy, procedures and employment law & contractual obligations

  • In alignment with the Division Leadership provide input into and implement the OneHR strategies required to meet the enterprise business goals and objectives

  • Provide input for the development and utilization of HR metrics, data, work processes, systems and tools to effectively manage the business operations

  • Develop and support an effective communication strategy

    • Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field

  • 8+ years of directly related work experience

  • Must be able to travel to other central Florida locations by car, as necessary

    • Preferred Qualifications

    In addition to the basic qualifications, the following are also preferred:
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Advanced knowledge of HR, Benefits and Payroll policies and processes

  • Advanced training and presentation skills

  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and build consensus among peer subject matter experts and legal counsel

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision; self-motivated

  • Superior customer service skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

  • Ability to handle confidential issues with discretion

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Bilingual and/or international project experience

  • Six Sigma Belt trained for work process improvements

  • Professional HR certification (SPHR, GPHR, PHR)

  • Knowledge of engineering consulting/EPC and/or heavy industry lines of business
